Townshippers’ Day is a day of celebration, bringing together people from all
over the Eastern Townships for an annual one-day event that salutes the vitality
and creativity of the Eastern Townships English-speaking community, its musicians
and dancers, artists, and artisans, writers and photographers, entrepreneurs and
enterprises. It is a day when acquaintances are renewed and those who have moved
away return to re-affirm their roots. Music for all tastes, activities for the whole
family, good food, good fun, and a giant information fair are featured, in both
English and French.
Townshippers’ Day moves to a different village, town or city each year to celebrate
the uniqueness of that community and to allow everyone to get to know another part
of the region. Visit
