It's official. Townshippers' Association's new 24-page tabloid-style flagship publication launched last September has a name - Townshippers.
After 108 issues, Townships Crossroads was retired to make way for Townshippers, on recycled paper and partly in glorious colour.
It will continue to offer news, information and photos relevant to the English-speaking community of the historical Eastern Townships.
Many thanks to everyone who submitted entries in the Name This Paper contest.
Townshippers' Association received a grand total of 41 entries, all of them creative, through-provoking and expressive, all indicating the high level of esteem our members and others hold for our long-standing newsletter.
The winning entry, simple, yet apt, was contributed by Roger Perrault, diretor of corporate marketing with etfs, one of Canada's largest providers of travel and health insurance products and services. Thank you, Roger!
