BROME-MISSISQUOI CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
The Brome-Missisquoi Caregivers Support Group is a non-profit organization which has been in existence since 1996. Serving the entire Brome-Missisquoi territory, the organization’s mission is to help prevent the exhaustion of caregivers by giving them the necessary tools and services to ease their burden. These services include a listening ear, assistance, support, respite (in and out of private homes), coffee breaks, workshops on the prevention of burnout, and various activities and conferences for caregivers.
The Caregivers Support Group is currently seeking volunteers for our respite service as well as office work, fundraising, events and more…

L’ARCHE DE L’ESTRIE SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
L’ARCHE de l’Estrie, a community organization which offers support to people living with HIV/AIDS, is seeking drivers. Volunteers are needed to pick up members at their home and drive them to appointments or trips.
Requirements: Volunteers must be punctual, be good listeners, be discreet, and possess empathy. You must also have a good driving record with proper insurance, have a reliable automobile, and be available for consecutive hours (3 – 4) per week. You will be reimbursed for mileage at .41$/km.
You must have a knowledge of French, although L’ARCHE does have some English-speaking clients.

The Volunteer Bank is an initiative of Townshippers' Association and was created as a result of a need expressed by English speakers to become more involved in their community, as well as to provide English-speaking volunteer support to community groups and organizations. Townshippers’ Association is a non-partisan, non-profit organization serving the English-speaking community in the Eastern Townships.
