E-Team

The E-Team focuses on the Association’s goal to further the long-term survival of the English-speaking community, retain existing community members and attract new English-speaking individuals and families to the region, by fostering community development. It works to help reduce the rate of out-migration of English-speaking young people.

 

Priorité Emploi Job Fair

Learning about job opportunities in the Eastern Townships at the Priorité-emploi job fair in Sherbrooke.

Mission of the E-Team

To ensure that young people are informed about the advantages and opportunities for living in the Eastern Townships, and to facilitate their reaching their full potential.

 

Mandate

  • Develop and oversee the realisation of a strategy to raise awareness of the educational and employment opportunities in the Eastern Townships.
  • Develop and oversee the realisation of a strategy to motivate youth to live in the Eastern Townships.
  • Collaborate with the Knowledge Base Committee about pertinent research to be carried out, or about findings that inform the committee’s work.
  • Collaborate with the Communications personnel in disseminating information to the public, in drafting briefs related to educational, employment and out-migration issues, and in facilitating the provision of information and referral services related to these issues.
  • Collaborate with the Community & Culture Committee to highlight the dynamism of the English-speaking community in the Eastern Townships.
