Richmond County Historical Society (RCHS) invites the community to an historic event on Sept. 2 at 2 PM.  The burial of over 100 time capsules in a Time Vault and the unveiling of a special work of art will take place behind the Melbourne Township Town Hall at 1257 Rte. 243, Melbourne.  Please bring a chair. The canisters with the documents and artifacts to be preserved must be returned by Sat., Aug. 25 to the Richmond County Historical Society at 506 College S., Richmond, J0B 2H0 or 1422 Ch. Tournesol, Melbourne, J0B 2B0 or 1257 Rte. 243, or Melbourne Township Town Hall between 9 and noon or 1:00 to 4:00 PM. This event is part of the 50^th anniversary celebration activities of RCHS.
