Desjardins and Townshippers’ sign partnership

Townshippers’ Association and Les Caisses Desjardins des Cantons-de-l’Est recently finalised a three-year partnership agreement.
"This partnership marks the first time Townshippers' Association has established a multi-year sponsorship at this level, and with such a well-known entity like the Desjardins group," remarked Association president Michael van Lierop. "It is encouraging to see the business community reaching out to the English-speaking community in the Townships in this way."
"The partnership between Townshippers’ Association and Desjardins speaks to our shared goal of establishing strong professional links with members of the English-speaking community,” said Richard Lacroix, regional vice-president of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Cantons-de-l’Est. “We are proud to support the Association, and to promote Desjardins’ financial expertise and scope."
In collaboration with Townshippers’ Association, Desjardins is planning a presentation, in English, on the financial markets, to take place this May at Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre in Sherbrooke (Lennoxville).
