Membership

Why should you become a member?

Being a member of the Association is a good way to be part of the action, or to keep yourself informed about what’s going on. The Association can help keep you connected with the English-speaking community and your membership helps keep the Association connected to, and relevant for, the community.

Townshipppers’ has initiatives in various fields, from health & social services to culture and arts, to youth. As a bonus, you may submit your email address to receive our regular E-Bulletin. And that’s besides the mass of information accessible through our information and referral service.

BE INFORMED

Members receive Townshippers, a bi-annual newsletter jam-packed with information on current initiatives for (and by) the English-speaking community. Have you heard the latest about the Eastern Townships Partners for Health & Social Services initiative?

Your membership assures that the English-speaking communiy continues to have a strong voice in those institutions. Your membership makes a difference!

SAVE YOUR MONEY

Townshippers’ Association has a number of cultural partnerships with local arts centres and organizations. Upon presentation of your Townshippers’ Association Membership Card, you may receive discounts from participating cultural partners and on all Townshippers’ merchandise. For details on discounts and more information including cultural partners contact information, box office telephone numbers, etc., visit the community and culture section.

This year, the membership committee aims to increase the number of members who are under 50 or who are newcomers to the Townships. As the new membership year started April 1st, these goals are even more acute. You can help by spreading the word and encouraging your friends to join the Association. It’s personal contact that makes a difference.
