QUESCREN:

Townshippers’ is an active member of the Advisory Committee of the QUESCREN (Quebec English-speaking Communities Research Network) and participates in research activities with this group. For more information about QUESCREN, visit: www.quescren.ca
 

Bachand Civil Society Internship:

Each year since 2008, Townshippers’ has welcomed interns from Bishop’s University through the Bachand Civil Society Internship program. These students of Political Studies at the University work on a variety of research and hands-on projects. Examples include: The Community Search Conference, Youth Research and Make Way for YOUth.
 
Surveys: For its regular programming, Townshippers’ regularly conducts surveys on relative issues, particularly relating to access to Health & Social Services for the English-speaking population and youth issues. For more information about our current research interests, contact us.
 

Health Symposia:

In March of 2010, Townshippers’ Association hosted a health symposium entitled “New Insights: Eastern Townships English-speaking Community.” For more information about the 2010 symposium, visit: www.townshippers.qc.ca/new-insights-symposium.aspx.
 
A follow-up symposium is planned for the fall of 2011.
